2009

  • Closed second part of the joint venture on Mall of Plovdiv in Bulgaria, currently 50% owner with Quinlan Private.
  • Completion of 1st phase of logistics development at Sofia Airport Center, Bulgaria.
  • Completion of 1st phase of Brasov development as part of Olympian logistics network in Romania.
  • Delivered last phase of 1,200 unit residential development in Prague under Orco joint venture.
  • Closed Liberec Retail Park and Kolin Shopping Center forward funding deals developed by TK Development in the Czech Republic.
2008
  • Acquired Silver Forum, a class A office building in Wroclaw, Poland.
  • Completion of the 1st phase of development of Explora Business Center, a class A business park in Prague, Czech Republic.
2007
  • Closed 12 transactions with a total investment value € 1.6 billion.
  • Acquired 25% of Mall of Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
  • Formed a 50-50 JV with Tishman International to develop a 115,000 m2 class - A office park, Sofa Airport Center.
  • First investment in Romania totalling € 175 million, consisting 7 distribution warehouse developments, in a joint venture acquisition with Helios- Phoenix.
  • Acquired ICKM Real Estate, consisting of high quality residential developments in the Czech Republic, in a joint venture with Crestyl.
  • Acquired an additional 25% stake in a portfolio of 7 retail galleries anchored by Real Hypermarkets in Poland.
2006
  • Acquired 14 Real hypermarkets in Poland, increase of share in Bulgarian shopping center (Mall of Sofia) and acquisition of 2 shopping centers in Slovakia, with a totol value of € 640 million.
  • Acquired a 50.98% stake in the publicly listed real estate investment trust, Garanti Gayrimenkul Yotirim Ortakligi A.Ş (the “Garanti REIT”), in a joint venture with Dogus Holdings.
2005
  • Acquired 5 real estate properties (retail and industrial) with a combined value of € 220 million in the Czech Republic, Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
  • Non-performing loan investment of € 45 million in the Czech Republic.
2004
  • Opened an office in Poland.
  • Started 2 residential developments and acquisition of Rudna Logistic Park (Prague) totalling € 100 million, via the Heitman Fund.
2003
  • Invested in 2 large retail portfolios totalling € 310 million, consisting of 12 shopping centers (anchored by retailer Casino) located in Poland and 4 shopping centers (anchored by Carrefour) located in the Czech Republic.
2000-2002
  • Acquired a Buda Square Office building in Budapest, Hungary.
  • Acquired € 200 million of office and industrial buildings in Prague and Warsaw, via the Heitman Fund.
1999
  • Invested € 50 million of equity in Heitman Fund to focus on office, retail and industrial acquisitions
1998
  • Formed GE Capilal Golub, a joint venture with an American developer, Golub, to focus on developments and property management across Central Europe.
