Avi Jagwani Appointed to Investment Management Team

Adds Strength to Growing Investment Management Unit

NORWALK, CONN., October 2009 – GE Capital Real Estate has appointed Avi Jagwani as senior director – Debt Investment Fund in its Global Investment Management division.  He will report to Skip Wells, general manager of the Debt Investment Fund.

Jagwani will be responsible for managing the fund’s performance and for maintain-ing relationships with the fund’s investors.

He joined GE Capital Real Estate in July 2000 and has held various positions, most recently as a senior director for the Strategic Capital Group, where he closed over $1 billion in financing commitments since 2003.  Prior to joining the sales team, Jagwani was a member of the Global Valuation Team, responsible for financial analysis and underwriting.

He holds a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
