GE Capital Real Estate Expands
Investment Management Team Appoints Skip Wells as Debt Fund Manager

NORWALK, CONN., June 2009 – GE Capital Real Estate announced it has expanded its Global Investment Management team with the appointment of real estate veteran Skip Wells as Fund Manager for Senior Secured Debt Investments.


In this newly created role, Wells will be responsible for the implementation of investment strategies and general fund supervision.


"Skip’s broad range of experience in real estate lending and his deep knowledge of GE Capital Real Estate, makes him a significant addition to our investment team," said Joseph Parsons, president and CEO of the Global Investment Management team. "Skip will play an integral role in the development of our investment business and in implementing our growth strategy over the coming years."


Wells joins Global Investment Management from GE Capital Real Estate’s Strategic Capital Group, where he was Managing Director of Originations. He began his GE career in 1989 with the GE Capital Financial Management Program before holding roles at GE Capital Real Estate as a finance operations analyst, asset manager, underwriter and relationship manger. Skip holds a BS in Finance from the University of Connecticut, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
