Tenant-focused strategies lead to renewals and new lease success
NORWALK, CONN., June 1, 2010 – GE Capital Real Estate today announced Arden Realty, GE Capital Real Estate’s property services company, booked more than 1.4 million square feet of North American office and industrial space renewals and new leases. The deals occurred from January through May 2010 and include more than 550,000 square feet of new leases.
“We have had success in signing new leases and lease renewals by continuing to focus on tenants’ needs and becoming strategic partners with them,” said Joaquin de Monet, president and CEO of Arden Realty.

The program features tenant service managers who, in addition to property managers, resolve issues, run focus groups and meet specific tenant requests.
Other GE Capital Real Estate leasing initiatives include cost containment measures, sustainability innovations, tenant improvements, capital projects tied to property maintenance and upgrades and development of programs to leverage GE resources.
