Purchased Kukdong Building for $260MM by teaming up with the Korea National Pension Services who funded 100% of the equity interest thru a REIT set up by GE AMC.  Kukdong Building (B3/23F; 75,253 sqm) is located in CBD. It is one of the iconic office asset in Seoul, with clear visibility, exposure, efficient floor ground parking and typical rectangular floor offering a spacious floor area.

Value Creation Strategy - Renovate / reposition


16 level freehold B Grade office tower with ground floor retail & 12 car spaces. Situated between Martin Place & Pitt Street Mall (Sydney’s premier retail precinct). Initially 100% vacant building on which GE undertook $8MM refurbishment of all office levels, ground floor retail and converted 1st floor office into mezzanine retail space & creating a foyer presence through extensive structural reconfiguration. GE secured lease over 61% of office space to Macquarie Bank, leasing newly created retail space to flagship retail tenants – Lacoste, French Connection and North Face.
