Johan Wästlund

Managing Director, Nordic RegionJohan joined GE Real Estate as Underwriter in September 2004 and was appointed Risk Manager in October 2005. Johan has extensive experience in corporate and real estate transactions. Between 1998 and 2004, Johan worked as Project Manager at the Corporate Finance department at Carnegie in Stockholm.

Prior to that, Johan was employed within GE's Financial Management Program where he among other things worked with business development at GE Capital's headquarters in Stamford and internal auditing for Corporate Audit Staff at GE Power Systems in New York.

Johan was appointed Managing Director of the Nordic Region in September 2008.

Johan holds a MSc in Finance from Gothenburg School of Economics and a CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) from Stockholm School of Economics.

Karmen Bergholcs

General Counsel, Nordic RegionKarmen joined GE Capital Real Estate as General Counsel in 2007. Karmen is responsible to co-ordinate outside counsel in the preparation, negotiation and completion of all legal documentation in standard asset purchase agreements, corporate transactions and debt transaction, provide overall legal and compliance support to the Nordic platform.

Karmen is the Compliance Officer for the Nordic platform.

Karmen has a Master in Law from Stockholm University. Her former job was as a legal expert in mergers and acquisitions at Advokatfirman Vinge

Johanna Blom (currently on maternity leave)

HR Manager, Nordic RegionJohanna Blom was appointed HR Manager for GE Capital Real Estate Nordic on Sept. 1, 2009. Johanna started her career at GE in 2008 as HRM for Finance and Asset Management. Johanna has a broad experience within HR and has worked as an HR generalist with different areas of responsibilities since 2003.

Prior to joining GE Capital Real Estate Johanna worked as an HR advisor at Linklaters.

Johanna holds a Master in psychology from the University of Linköping and she has also studied international economy at University of Auckland in New Zealand.

Mattias Lundström

CFO, Nordic RegionMattias Lundström was appointed Senior Controller at GE Capital Real Estate Nordic in September 2007. Mattias has broad financial and commercial experience. Prior to joining GE, Mattias worked as the Regional Controller for Scandinavia and the Baltic States for Rockwell Automation and as a Business Controller for TPG Post in the Netherlands.

Mattias was appointed the CFO for the Nordic region in November 2010.

Mattias holds a BSc in Business Management and Marketing from Griffith University, Gold Coast, Australia, and an MSc in International Finance from University of Groningen in the Netherlands.

Thomas Svensson

Head of Asset ManagementThomas Svensson was appointed Head of Asset Management on November 1st 2007 for GE Real Estate Nordic. Thomas has years of experience within property management. At the acquisition of Skanstornet in 2006 Thomas was working as Asset Manager for the Gothenburg district.

He held this position within GE Real Estate until he was appointed Head of Asset Management. Prior Thomas worked as Asset Manager at Postfastigheter AB as well as building contractor for NCC and ABV. Thomas holds a Master of Engineering from Chalmers.
